The Latest Greatest Product Is Useless If It Becomes Cyber-Dust!
If you've been online for any period of time, chances are that you've purchased many infoproducts. Most, if not all of them, say that they will provide you with the latest tactics to help you achieve more success in Internet marketing.
Well, did those infoproducts help you achieve more success online?
What's that you say? You didn't use them?
Why not?
"I didn't have the time to read it."
"It probably won't work, so I'll just leave it on my hard drive for future reference."
"I'm using other materials right now; I'll get back to it later."
Etc.
Do those reasons sound familiar? Have you said something similar?
Realize that many of these hot-selling products that you purchase have the latest internet marketing tactics in them. When I say "latest," I mean that those tactics are "new" at that moment, but that doesn't mean that they will remain new for very long. In other words, the effectiveness of that information will have a greater impact on your business the sooner you apply it.
That's not to say that those techniques won't work for you at all if you implement them at a later date. However, they will likely work better for you the sooner you implement them because everyone else who purchased them will be implementing them as soon as possible for the benefit of their businesses.
And as you likely know, the greatest technique used on the Internet now can quickly become an outdated technique within a month or two, due to the speed of the Internet. Plus, when virtually everyone uses these new techniques, they will lose their effectiveness over time because they don't catch the reader's attention as they did when they were brand new.
One example of this principle is software that automated the whole procedure of creating profitable Google Adsense websites. This software easily created thousands of pages with duplicate content. Because of this, Google and other search engines improved their filters to spot duplicate content more effectively.
