EXP.com, Inc., the leading online marketplace for expert advice and services, today announced their partnership with Homestead.com, a company that integrates and distributes Internet content, services, and technology to enable individuals and small businesses to create feature-rich Web sites. As a result, more than 4 million Homestead members will now be able to link from their personalized sites, directly to their expert profiles on EXP.com and communicate individually with visitors to their sites via phone, chat, or email to deliver expert advice and professional services. In addition, Homestead members and visitors gain streamlined access to the tens of thousands of qualified experts within the EXP community, for personalized advice in hundreds of business, technology and personal interests categories. The collaboration between Homestead and EXP provides Homestead members a way to use their sites as storefronts to sell their expertise online. To add this capability to their sites, members simply drag the new EXP Element, or building block, from Homestead's Element Gallery onto the desired page. Visitors to EXP-enabled Web sites can review a Homestead member's EXP expert profile and interact with that expert without leaving the Homestead member site.
For instance, a marketing consultant who used her Homestead site to attract new business could enable clients and prospective clients to contact her and begin working with her immediately through her Web site. EXP's Express Connect(tm) technology allows her to interact with clients individually through her Web site, using phone, chat, or email. EXP supplies a record of the transaction to both parties and handles all billing and invoicing-ensuring a seamless and satisfying exchange of valuable advice and professional services.
"We're excited to be so tightly integrated into the Homestead Network," said Mark Benning, CEO and founder of EXP.com. "This is a great way for EXP to extend its reach to the millions of small business executives and consumers who visit Homestead member Web sites each day. In addition, Homestead members represent a tremendous base of potential experts who are Web-savvy and already have a presence online."
In addition to leveraging their Web sites to sell their advice and services online, Homestead members who have questions and want specific answers from qualified experts can now link directly to EXP from Homestead's popular Market Place area. New Homestead members who are just starting out, for example, can tap into EXP's extensive database of Web design experts, and then find an online marketing professional to help get their new sites noticed.
"We're pleased to offer our members EXP's services," said Michael Geller, vice president of strategic partnerships at Homestead.com. "EXP's high quality experts and the breadth of categories they represent-from small business to technology to consumer services-is a great fit for the Homestead Network. This integration will help our members build relationships with their customers and take advantage of EXP's services."
